First Dot Marker Experience - Lunar New Year

Chiquita and I had fun with a few worksheets from Royal Baloo's Chinese New Year's Tot Pack.  She wasn't super excited about the pre-writing exercises but was willing to do it.  It turned out to be worth her time so that she could do a dot marker exercise for the first time!

I'd bought a red dot marker a month or so ago, not knowing when we'd use it.  Honestly I thought they were just for bingo parlors until I started reading mommy blogs.  It must have been serendipity that I got red since it is the color of the Lunar New Year.  She loved it!  I tried to focus her on covering the letter d's (perfect since we'll be picking up with letter D after V-day) but she was having so much fun that the whole page was soon covered in red!

  1. This is so cute! I have been wanting to get a few bingo dabbers too! I wanted to invite you to join us in our Share It Saturday link up party. Each week, so many creative and fun ideas are shared and it is so wonderful finding new ideas and blogs! Yours would fit right in! http://www.sugaraunts.com/2013/02/share-it-saturday-6-and-our-week-in.html

We also have a Pinterest board dedicated to the link up party and are inviting all contributors to become a collaborator on the group board. It is a really great way to get many new viewers to see your posts. The link for the Pinterest board is on our post. I hope to see you there!
