Indoor Snow Play

Chiquita wanted to go out and play in the snow that was coming down heavily, but I didn't feel well and it was really snowing, so we made it snow inside!

I set up an magic indoor snow blanket (an old table cloth) and got my big bin of shredded paper! We let it fall out of out hands to "snow" and then Chiquita got impatient and dumped the whole bin out. 

She spent some time shoveling it into a bucket (not the easiest) and we even tried to make snow men (maybe it would have worked with glue).  Then Chiquita built a snow castle and we took turns rescuing each other.

This would be a great activity if you don't get snow or if the snow outside is a little too frightful like here.  Have fun!
