D es de Delfin

We continued learning about la letra D with delfines (dolphins).

I had Chiquita color this printable from primeraescuela.com while I drew a big D and the rest of a dolphin around it.  Then I cut it out - the D, the nose, the dorsal fin, tail fin and flipper.

I drew with glue to give Chiquita a guide where to put the pieces.  By the tail fin she knew where it went!  We added a scrap piece for waves.

I asked Chiquita to color in an eye with black but afterward she wanted to keep coloring with other colors.  Don't worry, the dolphin is just blushing, not bleeding.
