We found this cute book "¿Tú Mamá es una Llama?" by Deborah Guarino in the discard shelves at Orem library. I was so thrilled! It was actually written in Spanish so all the rhymes work and it's fun to read. Stephen Kellog is the illustrator and takes me back to my childhood favorites, "The Day Jimmy's Boa Ate the Wash" and "The Mysterious Tadpoles".
It's about a Llama who asks all his animal friends if their mom was a Llama. It was the perfect length for Chiquita and we could even go back through and name all the animal's moms.
We'll be using this book in Spanish for Preschoolers soon!
