Chiquita and I we celebrated Dia de la Planeta (I know some people call it Dia de la Tierra, but that makes me think Dirt Day). I was super excited to start off with a preview of Kids Yoga Stories new book "Luke's Beach Day Adventure" (check back in a month or so for a giveaway!). I was lucky to get an advanced copy to review! It will be coming out this summer in both English and Spanish.
Then Chiquita and I got ready for some seed planting. I cut some toilet paper rolls in half and made four slits in the bottom to fold a bottom. Then we filled them with dirt! We'll be planting seeds during next week's Spanish for Preschooler, so now we're ready!

- Ask them to get books in your language - they won't buy them until people request them.
- Look to neighboring libraries. I drive 45 minutes to another library that has awesome resources that my local library doesn't, well worth the drive and annual fee.
- Join a book swap with others who speak your language! You can benefit from each other's home libraries!
This sounds like a wonderful book. I like the activity you did too. I will be sharing this post on Facebook and Pinterest.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great book. A fellow blogger (http://kerryaradhya.blogspot.com) hosts weekly links for books on movement, hope you can share your review on it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
