As a follow up to our list of Spanish storytimes in Utah County today we checked out Pleasant Grove library's bilingual storytime. I'd never been to the Pleasant Grove library but it is a little gem.
The storytime was downstairs in the theater - a fun area obviously designed for kids activities. The storytime was structured a little different with bilingual stories read by a native English speaking adult, a native Spanish speaking adult and a native Spanish speaking child.
Unfortunately Chiquita didn't have a nap before we went so she was a little cranky. Also there were tables set up with crayons which were very distracting, so we didn't stay the whole time. They weren't the most practiced storytellers but it was fun. I don't know if it's the same people every week, but we will definitely be back.
