This morning we did a quick E es de Elefante (elephant) craft. I just cut out a big bubble E for the body and a little e for the ear. Chiquita glued it down and added the google eye. So simple! Then of course we made more little elephants. If you've ready many of my posts you'll know that Chiquita is big into families and groupings right now.
We also sung a quick round of "
Un Elefante" to finish up our craft. We probably spent 15 minutes from start to finish, but I was really happy because I showed her the big E and without prompting she grabbed the little e and said "and this is the little e"! Yeah!

ReplyDeleteThanks! I was pretty pleased with myself for thinking of it. I do think it would look better with two ears though. we gave the baby elephants two ears and they looked much more elephant-y.
