It's fun in the sun time! Highland has a great splash pad. It's very different than the Alpine City splash pad so it's great to have options. The little river is great for younger kids to wade in and has some nice little fountains. The big fountain is really big and fun for even older kids.
One thing I personally really like is that Highland City has allowed vendors to come and sell food around the park. So, if you didn't pack snacks you can still get a hot dog or a nice cold popcicle.
The only downside is that, like all new parks, there's not much shade. Lots of little trees, so there will be great shade in a few years. A lot of people bring beach umbrellas and other shade makers. Excellent!
