Terrarium

We did like 4 craft projects this afternoon because I felt guilty that we'd just watched 2 hours of "Go Diego Go".  First was a terrarium out of a pop bottle!  Chiquita liked getting dirty. We got the idea from Juggling with Kids. 

I cut the 2-liter soda bottle in half and made some slits in the top and bottom.  Chiquita put rocks in the bottom, and a little bit of dirt.  The I added the lettuce we'd sprouted a few weeks ago at a Spanish for Preschooler's class and a little more dirt.  Then we added water and popped the top back on.  Let's hope it flourishes. I'll eat a salad from it!
